Team Walsh

It is official, Anthony is playing for the KC Royals. He wanted to play for the Red Sox again, but he is going to be a Royal. It is okay as long as he gets to play. An interesting story about Ant, we got a call on Sunday night asking our permission to put Anthony in the National league draft. Here in Texas the kids are drafted every season so as to make the teams as even as possible. Anthony's age group is the American league, the National league is for the 11-12 year olds. We thought it was pretty cool to have our little baseball player Anthony get "called up" to the older kids. WE (Anthony, Tim, me and his mom, Becca) decided to keep him in the American league so he will have a better chance at AllStars and so he can fine tune his skills. WE are serious about this baseball business! I'm excited about the season starting!


Jaren is going to be playing his first year of regular pitch baseball. He gets to play with the Diamondbacks! Yes!!!! WE are excited about seeing how he develops his baseball skills this season. Jaren played coach pitch last year and didn't enjoy it as much as he was hopeing. He was a little reluctant to do this again. This year he has glasses so he will be able to see the ball much better and he is playing more of the real game of baseball. We are going to give it one more go with the baseball thing with Jaren. We will see how he likes it this year. Maybe next we will have a little soccer star on our hands. But for now we are all looking forward to watching our kids play a little baseball. Let the good times roll!!!!
