The last of August we were able to head to AZ and see family and friends. I was so excited to see everyone. One of the highlights was having my totally talented sister take our family pictures. It was way past due. I'm really happy with they way they turned out. I think they showed our personalities, that is what I like about them. So thanks Gerk, for taking the time to capture my families personalities and expressions. The boys in all their glory. I think they all look so handsome! To bad Conor was being difficult! He wanted no part of this picture posing. Our little family. I love these boys.

This is my favorite of Anthony,

my favorite of Jaren.

I love the many expressions of Conor. What a character!

My favorite group of boys in the world. The guys make my life so much better, just by being themselves. Love them!

I would highly recomend my sister to anyone who would like pictures taken in the outdoors. She is very talented and knows a lot of good locations around the valley. Her website is www.epitomephotography.com. Check it out and see what you think for yourself.

Rockstar!

Disclaimer: Thanks to Becca, Joe and Keane for leaving this guitar at the house so that we HAD to bring it home. Conor LOVES it.

Really, do these need any explanation?

Like I always say....I LOVE this kid!

We are!

Conor loves to copy cat these days. I went into the kitchen this morning for something and came back to him "playing" on the computer. Funny kid.

Once again it was one of those moments when I thought...I haven't heard from or seen Conor for a few minutes. So I head into his room to check on him and found this.

I guess he thought his leg was hurt and needed some band aides. He tells me "I otay momma". Funny kid!

Notice the wrappers on the floor. I LOVE this little boy, makes my day.

This past week it has been a struggle to get Conor to go to sleep. To take a nap or to go to bed. It is for real one of the only struggles we have with him. I had gotten to the point yesterday and today that I wasn't going to force him to take a nap. It wasn't worth the frustration. Well, he got really quiet today and I went to check on him, this is what I found.

This is his favorite chair. We have it in his room. He takes the cushion out of it to sit down in.

Dirty face and all...ahh. Silence. It is a beautiful thing!!

Yesterday was one of those hot days. When Con woke up from his nap we pulled the pool out and let him have some fun. Here are some pictures of him just enjoying the afternoon in the water and sun.

Little poser. He LOVES the water!

Yep, a little bit of a pose again.

He would put the hose in his mouth and try and keep the water from coming out. Of course it didn't work so well.

Cheese!!!!!!!!!

He also had a visit from his friend Julie yesterday. She brought her ride and they toured around the back yard. Conor seemed to enjoy riding on the back.

Last week we were in Dallas for the Texas West State Championship. It was hot and humid, but the kids played awesome. The first game was Sunday against Laredo, we lost. That put us in the losers bracket.
This is the team before that first game. They were getting a prep talk from Coach.
The next game we played Eagle Pass. We beat them. Then next one we played was against University. We beat them. This slotted us to play Laredo again. This was the Championship game. We had to beat them twice to win Sate.

But before we get to the Championship game we need to talk about the little inspiration the boys got before they went. The coaches called the kids down to the lobby dressed in uniform. Nobody knew what was going on. They all get down there and Coach tells us there is a former president that used to live in Midland that now has an office in Dallas that would like the meet the boys from Midland playing to win sate. So the boys loaded up to head out to meet President George W at his office. Not only did they get to see the president, they also got to meet Mathew McConaughey and they also met Mike Leach, the head coach for Texas Tech. It was pretty neat to hear them get so excited to meet these celebrities.

So to make a long story short we win the first game 5-4, we play the second game an hour later. As we start the game we give up 4 runs in the 1st. We had to play catch up the rest of the game. It was looking a little grim, but we tied it in the 5th. We end up playing extra innings and squeak out a win in the 7th, 5-4. We are state Champs. We are so proud of these boys, they play hard all the time. I have never seen a team that has more heart than these boys. They are so much fun to watch and be around. Awesome group of boys!

Tim with the boys! He is a proud dad!
Our cute little family. I love these boys!!!!
